Does writing need an inspiration?

Blogging on personal fronts after quite a long time!! :-).. Earlier I was writing for my rock band named Defaulters. Wrote so many articles and songs for them (I will be publishing them all here on my new blog…yuppie..). Those were the days I used to write 2-3 pages seamlessly. Words had no limits and they were burning paper with the pen. The moment I left the band, I kept busy with the work and couldn’t keep up with personal blogging. Meanwhile, kept blogging on technical stuff for my organization. Well, today in our lunch session we friends were discussing about Nirvana blog written by one of my office pals. Here came the inspiration to bring me back to personal blogging again!!

Coming back to the topic, different people may have different views on the above question. Frankly speaking I couldn’t find myself in group of people who all are in favor of this and not even in those who are against this. For me writing is something that can be done anywhere, anyhow, considering anything, on and with the help of anything.

Sometimes an inspiration to write something plays an important role in density and depth of material you write. When I fell in love, I used to impress my girlfriend with some romantic Marathi stuff I had written. She always appreciated it even though I couldn’t determine how much she really understood :-):-). Be it; she is the one who gave me an inspiration to keep on writing stuff.

Everybody knows how difficult it is for s/w engineers to take out time for writing. I remember, In my earlier days in Greytrix my mode of travelling to office was BEST (BUS in mumbaiya language..373..I hate that bus..).. Getting a place to seat was like miracle in that bus. Well, the best seat is really not that comfortable for you to take out notepad and pen and write, so I came up with an innovative concept. I started writing in notes section of my mobile. The funny side is, I couldn’t work out with that also; because every time I took my cell out to write something people standing nearby started peeping in unnecessarily. In such conditions even an inspiration will also not help:-)..This is the mode when I shifted from romantic songs to quite metallic versions of romantic songs:-X..Sometimes I don’t understand why people don’t mind their own business!!

Sometimes when I seat in front of my computer and something’s going on in my mind, some phrase comes out of nowhere and I note it down. Whenever I get time I note them all on my computer and keep them to use as writing references in future. This is the great way you can collect millions of ideas from your day to day work and then work them out in your writing. Came up with my first song Aye khuda in the similar manner (Will be posting the lyrics soon.). My guitar teacher gave me a very good suggestion that I would like to share with you all, “whenever you write something don’t care about what others will think, because it’s the way you express your own feelings and not others”.

Well, this might not be that great post overall, but quite sufficient for first post..:-)..Will be posting some मराठी stuff also. Keep blogging and yes, keep smiling always:-):-)..

  2. When words come out right from your heart, they never seize to strike connection with others, irrespective of the time that has passed in between.. Experienced the same while reading this one.. Nice flow of writing accompanied by honesty in expressing your thoughts enables this to touch many milestones

Swaroop Paha

Hi guys! Trust you all are doing good! It's been a long time I have been away from personal blogging. However some recent instances moved my thought process and I felt like going back to sharing things again. Coming to the topic, now you must be wondering what does it mean. Its a popular Marathi quote from the legendary Acharya Vinoba Bhave "Swaroop paha, Vishwaroop pahu naka". It means "Look at yourself, not the world". Nowadays its really necessary that we understand the meaning of this quote in our life. I think we need to interpret the quote itself as "First try to change yourself, then go for changing the world".  I am sure that all my fellow Indians are quite happy in their personal lives, because thats what we learn, earn and do hardwork for right? So what's going wrong with our public life? Why are we becoming more antisocial day by day? Is it really because of facilities, benifits, govertments, earnings? Yes they all do...

Why so serious???

Will I get the good job? Will I get the good increment? Will I get the sexy, beautiful girl to marry? So many questions….Huhh..I mean, what’s happening with all buddies? We all are spending each and every second of life thinking about these damn things. Is anybody alive thinking of living life to the fullest? What has happened to the terms like Love, Joy, Mauj-Masti. I think our children won’t even understand meaning of these words in future. What led us to this situation? Seriously, competition is the only thing that always plays a vital role in turning our fundamentals of life in these directions. Everyone is always telling you; if you will stop competing you will lose the race of life. I ask what you will get after winning? Is there a special award or appreciation waiting for you in heaven or hell ... Wherever you go? Noooo… Guys come on; living life to the fullest doesn’t mean leaving your roles and responsibilities behind. It’s the time we should start valuing relationships, unde...

First outing to Bhandardara, a jewel of Sahyadris

Its been a while away from blogging and I am back with another travelogue from recent trip to Bhandardara. This time with my ex colleague's from Greytrix, my previous employer. The dates were 14, 15 july 2018. To start with, it was not so difficult choice between Lonavla and Bhandardara for rainy outing since the hype around lonavla is bringing in hell lot of crowd there nowadays. Its certainly not a place where you want to go for leisure anymore. Anyways so we set foot for first outing with this group to Bhandardara knowing little or nothing about the place. Couple of pick up/Tea halts at Thane and Bhiwandi bypass and we were on our way through Mumbai Nashik highway. It was indeed one beautiful day for an outing. Climate on the way through Kasara ghat and around was simply amazing. Just beofre Ghoti bypass driver decided to take a route well known to him (unknown to us:-)) and our journey from highway to bhandardara uphill started through narrow but very well...
